As Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing risk management, compliance policies, and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity. You will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to identify risks, implement controls, and enhance compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing risk management and compliance frameworks aligned with industry regulations.
Ensuring adherence to APRA, ASIC, and other regulatory requirements.
Conducting risk assessments, audits, and compliance monitoring to identify potential issues.
Providing expert advice and training on risk, governance, and regulatory matters.
Working closely with business units to instil a culture of risk awareness and compliance excellence.
Leading incident investigations, reporting, and remediation actions.
Staying up to date with legislative and regulatory changes, advising on business impacts.
Qualifications and Skills
Tertiary qualifications in risk management, law, business, or a related field.
Strong understanding of APRA, ASIC, and regulatory frameworks relevant to insurance.
Proven ability to develop and implement risk and compliance strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive cultural change.
