We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers for upcoming casual work in the Wolli Creek area. These roles offer flexible, ongoing work and are ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in building and civil construction projects.
As General Labourer, you will be responsible for assistance with a range of construction projects, supporting trades and operators, maintaining site safety, and contributing to the overall success of each project. This is a great opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and work with an experienced construction team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks on construction project tasks.
Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment around the site.
Prepare and maintain work areas, including cleaning, clearing debris, and site organisation.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
Support the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, fencing, or traffic management systems.
Assist with digging, trenching, and other manual civil construction tasks as required.
Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues to site supervisors.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Qualifications and Skills
Reliable and proactive approach
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
Safety-conscious with a commitment to following procedures
Previous civil construction experience (preferred)
Relevant tickets/certifications (e.g., White Card)
